From repairing to creating your own designs, many supplies and tools are available for your next mechanical project!
Safety

Different personal protective equipment is required depending on the tools being used:
- General rules
- All loose clothing and accessories (long sleeves, necklaces, rings, bracelets, long hair) must be removed or secured before using any cutting tools or power tools
- Close toe shoes and long pants
- Gloves
- should be worn when using irritating chemicals/adhesives or handling sharp workpieces
- should NOT be worn when using power tools such as the drill or dremel
- Safety glasses
- should be worn when using any tool that generates dust/debris, has sharp edges, is powered, or when using chemicals/adhesives
- Respiratory protection
- should be worn when using chemicals/adhesives, or when using tools that generate fine dust such as sandpaper or the dremel
- Do not leave power tools pluggeed in while not in use
Tool Workstation
Hand tools available:

- Hammers
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- Hacksaw
- Vises and clamps
- Files, sandpaper, and deburring tools
- Basic wood carving toolkit
Power tools available:
- Drill and drill bits
- Dremel kit
Materials provided:
- Various tapes
- Various glues
- Assorted fasteners
*While the Makerspace provides a variety of tools and components, there are no guarantees for us to have parts for your project. Please bring parts you know you need and can use parts as needed.
