The Makerspace is introducing a new hands-on experience for everyone to enjoy, free of cost! Ever feel like making something, but you don’t know what to make? Need some creative stress relief? Just have some time to kill? Want to be in the Makerspace but don’t have anything to work on? Then come on down to L100 in the basement of Marston Science Library and ask about this month’s Make and Take craft!

September’s Make and Take Craft
We started off the school year with Bead a Fish as our make and take craft. This activity is a spin on the 90’s beaded geckos, and is a fun blast from the past!

Luckily, September is not over yet, so you can still come down to the Makerspace to make your own fish and turn it into whatever you want… earrings, keychain, pin, ornament, and more!
OCtober’s Make and Take Craft
October, with its spooky season, will bring some spooky keychains! We 3D printed a variety of fun keychains for the season, which you can come in and jazz up with paint markers, beads, googly eyes, sequins, and more!
Love the designs? Want to print more for yourself and friends? Email us and we will send you the STLs. You can even print them here at UF through our 3D online order form for just 15 cents per gram of filament!

November’s Make and Take Craft
November, with its fall vibes, will bring mushroom decorations! We will be partnering with RePurpose Project to upcycle wine corks and plastic caps to make cute mushroom garlands, ornaments and plant buddies!

December’s Make and Take Craft
December is such a paradox! Exam stress, but festive fun! Come relieve stress and bring joy to your studying by making a light-up bookworm bookmarks!
Note: This image and craft was found on instructables.

Stay tuned for our Make and Take crafts during spring semester!
