The Makerspace recently held a sticker contest in which patrons were invited to create and submit stickers that embodied our space. These stickers will be handed out at events, given as prizes, and available on request, so the artist will get to see their work reflected in our community.
We received 9 amazing submissions, all wonderful representations of the Marston Makerspace.
3 of the top submissions were selected by the UF Libraries, and our winner was voted for by our Makerspace community. Over 80 patrons voted!
Our 3rd place winner is Chloe Leung.

Our 2nd place winner is by Ashley House.

Finally, our 1st place winner is “Octo-Make” by Daniela Peñafiel! 41 people voted this submission as their top choice, and over 10 voted it as their second choice.

Daniela received an official winning certificate, 10 custom buttons with her design, a tumbler sublimation blank and 20 blank buttons to customize.

Congratulations to our winners and we thank you all for participating. These stickers represent just how special our space is to our patrons. We love to see that you love the Makerspace just as much as we do!
