Create a Custom Mug or Tumbler — On Us!
Did you know the Marston Makerspace has a cylindrical heat press that lets you make custom sublimated mugs, tumblers, and more? This machine uses heat and special inks to permanently bond your design into the surface of a mug or cup, meaning no peeling, no fading, and a professional-quality finish.
One of the biggest barriers to using this process is access to sublimation blanks. These are the specially coated mugs and tumblers required for sublimation, and they’re usually only sold in bulk. That’s great for businesses, but not so great if you just want to make one or two gifts.
We’re exploring whether it would be helpful for the Makerspace to offer these blanks individually, and we need your help to decide!
