The Makerspace offers a month-long walk-in craft, free of cost!
Ever feel like making something, but you don’t know what to make? Need some creative stress relief? Just have some time to kill? Want to be in the Makerspace but don’t have anything to work on? Then come on down to L100 in the basement of Marston Science Library and ask about this month’s Make and Take craft!

January’s Make and Take Craft

Come try out our beginner-friendly sewing craft this month! You will design a friend, then bring them to life with felt and simple stitching. Embellishments can be added with hot glue, fabric markers, paint, or sewing!
February’s Make and Take Craft

Want to brighten your breakfast table? Love flowers but hate that they die? Want to give an eternal flower to someone you love? Come make pipe cleaner flowers in the Makerspace! We have flower instructions for a variety of skill levels and time commitments!
March’s Make and Take Craft

Come see our adorable 3D printed mini succulents, and weave cute mini hangers for them that you can hang in your window, hang on your wall, attach to your bag, and more!
Want more? You can always design your own 3D plants and print them using our 3D printing service!
April’s Make and Take Craft

Using a new-sew method of fusible interfacing, create adorable designs with upcycled fabric onto cloth napkins that you can gift to friends, use on a special date, or use to impress your dinner guests. Each napkin will be 100% unique and customizable, no limits but your imagination (and for those who want, there are also templates!)
Stay tuned for our Make and Take crafts during summer semester!
