Cookies and Crafts!

The Marston Makerspace is having its grand re-opening after our months-long summer closure!

To mark the occasion, we will be having an event, with cookies, drinks, bubbles and crafts.

On September 2nd, 2025, between 2pm and 7pm, come down to the first floor of Marston Science Library, in front of the Makerspace (L100).

What will we be doing?

  • We will have some of our great machines out on display, demonstrating some of the fun projects you can make in our space
  • We will have cookies and drinks for you to enjoy outside the space (no food or drink in the makerspace itself!)
  • There will be a bubble machine (and who doesn’t love a bubble machine?)
  • We will have a fun small craft for participants to partake in if they would like!

Please remember that we have a maximum capacity inside the makerspace of 15 people at a time, but there will be lots of fun to be had both inside and outside the makerspace!

Keep watch for some pop-up hours before our big re-opening! Depending on how quickly we are able to get the space “patron-ready” we will be having some pop-up times where the space will be open to the public for some pre-ceremony crafting!
